Noise Recorder Support Privacy Policy Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Noise Recorder (the "App"). By using the App you agree to them.

1. About the readings

The values shown by the App are an estimate. Phone microphones differ in sensitivity between models and usually apply noise suppression, so the App is not a certified sound level meter and is not a substitute for one.

Nothing here guarantees that a reading from the App will be accepted as evidence in an official process or a legal dispute.

2. Recording other people

Recording another person's voice or image may be restricted by the law where you live. Creating, keeping, disclosing and publishing recordings is your own responsibility and must comply with the rules that apply to you.

The App does not provide legal advice.

3. Where data is kept

Recordings, readings and location data created by the App are stored on your device only. See the Privacy Policy for details.

The developer is not responsible for data lost through device failure, loss, reset, or uninstalling the App. Keep important records elsewhere by saving them to your photo library or sharing them.

4. Premium (subscription)

4.1 What it includes

Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. It gives you:

  • Evidence images without the app-name watermark
  • No ads
  • No limit on stored recordings (the free version keeps 20)
  • CSV export of the readings

4.2 Price and period

The price and period are shown on the purchase screen inside the App, in the currency of your store account. Prices may change.

4.3 Auto-renewal and cancellation

  • The subscription renews automatically.
  • It renews at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can cancel at any time from your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel it.
  • After cancelling, the subscription stays active until the end of the current period. Partial periods are not refunded.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are governed by the store you bought from (Apple App Store or Google Play). The developer cannot issue refunds directly.

4.5 Restoring

After changing device or reinstalling, use "Restore purchases" on the purchase screen. You must be signed in with the same store account you bought with.

5. Ads

The free version shows ads. The developer is not responsible for the content of those ads.

6. Things you may not do

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Use the App to intimidate or surveil another person
  • Modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the App
  • Interfere with the operation of the App

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from its use.

The readings, recordings, evidence images and evidence videos produced by the app are not warranted to be admissible, accurate or complete as evidence in any legal proceeding, whether criminal or civil. The developer is not responsible for the consequences of submitting them as evidence or disclosing them to third parties. If you are considering using them as evidence, please consult a lawyer or another qualified professional.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised when the law changes or when features are added. Revised terms take effect when published on this page.
