Frequently asked questions

A number or a sign does nothing when I tap it

Numbers and signs you cannot place right now are dimmed and cannot be tapped. The reasons are:

• Numbers and signs take turns: whether a number or a sign comes next is decided by the order of the blanks
• Each number can be used only once: numbers you have used are dimmed
• Division must come out even: fractions are never allowed
• Subtractions that would reach zero or below are not allowed

I filled every blank but the puzzle is not cleared

The puzzle is cleared only when your expression lands exactly on the target. If you see "That comes to ...", press "Undo" to take one step back and try another.

I really cannot solve it

"Hint" tells you which number the expression starts with. The numbers you have placed go back to the start, and the puzzle is then worth one star. "Answer" ends the puzzle and shows one way to solve it (the puzzle is not cleared).

My records are gone

Records are stored only on your device. They are lost if you delete the App or reset the device, and they cannot be recovered.

I bought "Remove ads" but still see ads

Please try "Restore purchase" in Settings. You need to be signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the purchase.

No ads are shown

Ads are not shown once you have purchased "Remove ads". Otherwise, ads may not appear depending on your connection or on ad availability.

How do I cancel?

"Remove ads" is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges, so there is nothing to cancel.
