This policy explains how personal information and user data are handled in "Real IQ Test" (the "App").

1. Who we are

2. What the App does not collect

The App does not ask you to create an account. It never collects information that identifies you: no name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, phone number or postal address.

There is nothing you have to type in to take the test.

3. Data stored only on your device

The following data is created and kept only on your device. It is never sent to us or to any third party.

  • Your test results (when you took it, the seed that determined the items, which option you chose for each item, how long each section took)
  • App settings (display language)
  • Purchase state (whether you have bought the ad removal)

This data lives in the App's storage area and is deleted when you uninstall the App. You can delete it at any time from Settings, "Delete your results".

The IQ estimate itself is not stored. Only the option numbers you chose are kept; the result is recalculated each time it is shown.

4. Device permissions

The App requests no permissions: no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or storage access.

5. Advertising

When used for free, the App shows advertising through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect information such as advertising identifiers in order to serve and measure ads.

  • Ad personalisation can be changed in the App under Settings, "Ad consent settings" (shown only in the regions where it applies), or in your device settings.

For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, consent is obtained through Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is shown.

On iOS, the App asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) at startup. Declining does not restrict any feature of the App; you will see non-personalised ads instead.

Your test results are never shared with advertisers.

No ads are shown while the test is running.

6. In-app purchase

A one-time purchase is available to remove advertising. The purchase is processed by Apple and Google. We never receive your card number or any other payment details.

Purchase state is managed through RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier used to match your purchase and the receipt information issued by the store. No name or e-mail address is sent.

7. Children under 13

The App is designed primarily for people aged 13 and over. It is not designed for or marketed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. What the result is

The number the App shows is an estimate. It is not a medical or psychological diagnosis. It is not intended for judgements about development or learning, nor for use in education, hiring or health care.

9. Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy will be published on this page. If a change is significant, we will also announce it in the App.
